DEVELOPING: Temporary Ban on Oregon Vaping Begins

SALEM, Ore. – Oregon Gov. Kate Brown issued a temporary ban on flavored vaping products Friday in an effort to address the growing number of vaping-relating illnesses.

The order calls for a 180-day ban on all flavored vaping products under the rulemaking authority of the Oregon Health Authority and the Oregon Liquor Control Commission. It also directs state agencies to develop legislative proposals for long-term solutions.
